Awareness through movement for health and wellbeing.
Kum Nye is an ancient form of Tibetan Yoga brought to the West by Lama Tarthang Tulku Rinpoche.
It combines sitting and walking meditation with gentle physical exercises, which relax the mind and help us to find more energy, ease, and comfort in the body.
Kum Nye is practiced with care and slow attention to feelings and sensations within the body, allowing our awareness to sharpen and senses to open. These movement practices have the potential to enliven and invigorate, and the effects on both mind and body can be deep and long lasting.
